Gutter problems that look like roof leaks
- Blocked downpipes. Leaves, a tennis ball, a bird's nest. The gutter fills and overflows at the lowest bracket.
- Wrong fall. Brackets sag over time; water ponds mid-run and overflows in heavy rain.
- Rusted GI gutters. Galvanised gutters rust at the joins and at the bottom where water sits. Pinhole leaks drip onto the wall.
- Undersized gutters. A single 4-inch gutter on a long terrace roof simply can't carry a Klang Valley downpour. Overflow every storm.
- Concrete (RC) gutters. Built-in gutters on older houses crack and the waterproofing fails — a waterproofing job.
What we do
Clear and flush, re-fall and re-bracket, replace rusted sections or the full run in GI, aluminium or uPVC, upsize where the run is too long, add or relocate downpipes, and re-line RC gutters. Gutter clearing and minor repair is usually RM200–600; a full replacement run on a terrace house RM1,500–4,000 depending on material and length.

Common questions
How often should gutters be cleared?
Twice a year if you have trees nearby; before the year-end monsoon at minimum. Gutter guards help but aren't maintenance-free.
Aluminium or uPVC?
Aluminium lasts longer and doesn't sag in heat; uPVC is cheaper and fine on shorter runs in shade. We'll recommend for your roof.
